Stock market, Atlantia flies after 100% acquisition of Autostrade Sud America

The holding's shares lead the rises of the Ftse Mib after yesterday the group took over the shares held in Autostrade Sud America Srl (Asa) by Sias (45,765%) and Mediobanca (8,47%), thus reaching 100 % of capital.

The share of Atlantia sparks in Piazza Affari, gaining 5,8% at the end of the morning, clearly leading the rises of the Ftse Mib. Yesterday, through the subsidiary Autostrade per l'Italia, the holding company acquired the stakes held in Autostrade Sud America Srl (Asa) by Sias (45,765%) and Mediobanca (8,47%), thus getting 100% in its pocket of the capital. The transaction has a total value of 670 million euro.

The acquisition will lead to the consolidation of Grupo Costanera, wholly owned by Asa, starting from 2012 April 49,99. On the basis of the agreements signed in April, Autostrade per l'Italia has undertaken to sell Canada Pension Plan to Canada, subject to the fulfillment of the conditions precedent Investment Board (Cppib), a leading Canadian pension fund, XNUMX% of the capital of Grupo Costanera.
