Borsa, AIM towards 100 quota: Spaxs and ALP.I make their debut

Aim Italia, the segment of Borsa Italiana dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises, continues to grow and 100 listed companies are now approaching: after the exploit of 2017 with 24 admissions in the calendar year, today two more companies made their debut, bringing the total to 97.

It is two SPACs (special purpose acquisition company), one of which, Spaxs, promoted by former minister Corrado Passera and focused on the financial sector, and the other, ALPS, promoted by Mediobanca and interested in Italian companies.

Spaxs, in which Andrea Clamer is also involved, raised a good 600 million in capital with the IPO and today, on the day of its debut, it is earning around 1,5% above the 10 euro per share. The society will focus on the financial services sector, where it searches for target companies for an aggregation and capitalization operation. The free float is now over 80%.

ALP.I, on the other hand, is also above 10 euros per share, with a gain of about half a percentage point in the mid-afternoon. The IPO raised €100 million of capital and the free float on admission is 100%. The company is looking for Italian companies or companies with a permanent establishment in Italy, with growth aspirations and an equity value between 100 and 400 million.
