Stock market, A2A flies after bond success

Start of the week in great shape for the A2A stock, which leads the few increases in Piazza Affari with a decisive +3%. The trend is in clear contrast to that of the general index, which in the same minutes travels in the red by 0,7%.

A2A shares also gain more than the utilities sector in Europe (down 0,15%). A positive trend that can be explained by the success of last week's 750 million bond. Meanwhile, analysts are continuing their reflections on the industrial plan presented at the beginning of the month.

Despite today's good performance, the stock is still in the dark since the beginning of the year on the Ftse Mib, with a drop of 46,50% updated to last Friday.

In a report this morning, Dario Michi, an analyst at Banca Akros, raises his judgment on the stock to "accumulated" from "hold", with a target price of 0,45. Michi believes that the industrial plan is “good and with achievable targets. The main concern is debt reduction and refinancing, but with regard to this we believe that some sales and the issue of the bond can give investors adequate guarantees to restore confidence in the stock”.

Over the weekend Il Sole 24 Ore wrote that A2A wants to sell its 25,7% of Metroweb for around 60 million euros by Christmas.
