The two big banks are at the top of trading on Piazza Affari in 2015.

Borsa 2015, Unicredit and Intesa the most traded

Intesa Sanpaolo and UniCredit at the trading summit on Piazza Affari in 2015. The UniCredit share, like last year, was the most traded in terms of number of contracts (3,9 million against 5 million in 2014).

Intesa, on the other hand, leads in terms of value, a category in which it surpasses UniCredit itself and reaches 95,2 billion euro (in 2014, the institution led by CEO Federico Ghizzoni was in the lead with 112,3 billion in value).

Overall, the trading of shares on the Stock Exchange reached a daily average of 3,2 billion euros and almost 282 thousand contracts.

A total of over 70,7 million contracts were traded and a value of over 801,7 billion euro. The daily maximum for turnover was reached on 24 August with 5,9 billion euros and 530.325 contracts traded
