Spa bonus towards the starting tapes. The new incentive – a facilitation for using accredited spa services – was financed by the government with 53 million euros. This was established by a decree of the Minister of Economic Development, Giancarlo Giorgetti, published on 10 August in the Official Gazette.
1) THE BONUS TERME AUDIENCE
The Mise explains in a note that the spa bonus "is aimed at all adult citizens residing in Italy, without ISEE limits and without limits related to the family unit". The measure's number one objective, in fact, is “to support a particular sector affected by the Covid emergency".
2) SPA BONUS: THE DISCOUNT IS 100%
Every citizen will be able to use only one bonus, "which consists of a 100% discount on the purchase price of spa services - continues the ministry - up to a maximum of 200 euros". If the spa bill exceeds this threshold, the excess is paid by the citizen.
3) IN WHICH THERMAL ESTABLISHMENTS IS IT VALID?
This question cannot yet be answered. "With a forthcoming notice published on the Mise and Invitalia websites - the note concludes - the list of accredited establishments will be communicated".
4) FROM WHEN CAN THE TERME BONUS BE USED?
The incentive will be available "starting from the publication of the notice of opening of reservations on the websites of the Ministry and Invitalia - reads the a file of the Mise dedicated to the new facilitation – until the allocated resources are exhausted”. Furthermore, "the reservation is valid for 60 days from its issue" and "the services booked must be used within this term".
5) HOW DOES THE REFUND WORK?
The thermal establishment will obtain the refund directly, which through a new telematic platform will have to send a request to Invitalia, from which it will then receive a sum corresponding to the value of the voucher used by the citizen.
Invitalia is the national agency for investment attraction and business development. 100% owned by the Ministry of the Economy, it manages almost all the state subsidies for companies and innovative startups.
