Finally, the long-awaited INPS circular has arrived which makes access to the psychologist bonus 2024. This benefit, established with the Milleproroghe 2022 decree, aims to cover the costs related to psychotherapy sessions, offering support to those who need psychological assistance to deal with anxiety, stress, depression and other mental disorders. Psychologist bonus 2024, when does it come out?
It is important to respect the deadlines indicated by the INPS circular, which for the year 2023 provide for the possibility of submitting the application from 18 March 2024 to 31 May 2024. For questions relating to the year 2024 and subsequent years, the Institute explains in the circular, the time window for submitting applications will be communicated annually with a specific message.
After this date, they are drawn up rankings distinguished by Region and autonomous Province of residence, considering the lowest ISEE value and the chronological order of submission of applications.
The results of the requests will be notified to citizens via text message and/or email. Those whose benefits are upheld will receive a maximum benefit amount along with a unique code, to be provided to the chosen professional for each psychotherapy session.
What are the requirements to obtain it?
To access the bonus, you must reside in Italy and have a ISEE value not exceeding 50.000 EUR. Furthermore, it is essential to keep in mind that the contribution is paid once a year and varies based on the applicant's ISEE range: the lower the ISEE value, the greater the benefit amount. In detail:
- For Isee less than 15.000 euros, the maximum contribution reaches up to 1.500 euros per year
- For those with an ISEE between 15.000 and 30.000 euros, the maximum amount is 1.000 euros
- For those with an ISEE between 30.000 and 50.000 euros, the maximum contribution is 500 euros.
Psychologist bonus: how to request it?
The procedure for requesting the bonus is simple and takes place exclusively in mode telematics. It is possible to submit the application via the dedicated web portal, using your Spid credentials, the electronic identity card (Cie) or the National Services Card (Cns). Alternatively, you can contact the Integrated Contact Center, providing the requested information.
How to use?
The use of the contribution follows a precise process: the beneficiaries will be assigned a unique code to be communicated to the professional during each psychotherapy session. The amount of the bonus, paid directly by INPS, will be used to reimburse the sessions. It is the professional who, during the booking or confirmation of the psychotherapy session, will indicate the unique code together with the tax code of the beneficiary, receiving the amount directly, up to 50 euros per session.
It is crucial to note that the beneficiaries will have a 270 day period, starting from the date of publication of the message containing the results of the rankings, to benefit from the 2024 psychologist bonus and the related psychotherapy sessions.
