Child bonus: 240 euros (per month) for each child

Here are all the details of the new measure being studied by the government – To finance it, changes are envisaged to the 80 euro bonus, to the basic income and above all to the 100 quota

Child bonus: 240 euros (per month) for each child

The project takes shape Children bonuses to government study. This is a single check from 240 euros per month for each child, from the seventh month of pregnancy until 18 yearsat least for the first year. From the second year, in fact, it is planned to extend the benefit to the during 26 paid by the parents.

As for stakes, that would be expected an income ceiling of 100 euros gross, but be careful: this is not the family income, but the highest individual income of the couple. In this way, only really rich families will be excluded from the bonus. The measure should start in mid-2020, but it is not yet excluded that in the end the green light can be anticipated in January.

The real problem is with the covers. In all, 30 billion are needed: 6 will come from the deletion of the family allowances, 12 from the cut of tax deductions and 2 more from abolition of bonuses currently in force for families (birth premium, baby bonus, nest bonusbirth support fund). Another 10 billion are missing.

To make ends meet, the government plans to reformulate three particularly important measures: 80 euros, CBI e 100 share on pensions.

Il Renzi bonuses it would not be canceled altogether, as it was initially thought to be done. According to the latest hypothesis, those who do not have children would continue to collect the 80 euros, while those with children would see this amount absorbed in the new 240 euro bonus for each child.

Same speech for the CBI, from which the amount of the Children's bonus would be deducted.

More complicated the speech for share 100, that it's not working as expected and could therefore be revolutionized. It is thought to transform it into a social Ape strengthened by 3 billion to allow the unemployed, workers engaged in strenuous activities and people who take care of non-self-sufficient relatives to retire at 62 years of age and 30 of contributions (instead of 38 necessary with quota 100). A kind of "quota 92" designed only for the weakest sections of society.

With these interventions, 3 billion would be obtained from the Renzi bonus, 2 billion from the basic income and another 100 billion from the 5 share. Voila: here are the 10 billion that were missing.

All this it would not entail additional expenditure for the State, because the whole operation would be handled by moving resources. Those who have children, on the other hand, would cash in a truly significant allowance, even if a reduction in the amount as income increases cannot be ruled out: starting from 55 euros, for example, the Children's bonus could drop from 240 to 150 euros per month.

The only certainty is that no one will lose money: a safeguard clause will establish that no one can cash in less than in the past.
