It is not always easy to navigate the bureaucratic maze of the concessions provided for energy efficiency and the redevelopment of buildings.

For this Intesa Sanpaolo -in collaboration with Deloitte – has developed a training course in 12 webinars aimed at small and medium-sized businesses.

How is the Eco-Sisma Tour organised?

What are the housing incentives for this year?
For this sector this year a package of around 37 billion euros. The deadlines and benefits of the 110% Superbonus have therefore been extended and other concessions have been extended until 2024, including the 60% facade bonus.

Intesa San Paolo already with the 2020 Relaunch Decree had developed a platform, consultancy and management of requests for all types of building tax credits to support individuals, condominiums and companies. To date it has acquired over 2 billion euros of credits, of which about 1,2 billion from companies that have practiced the so-called "invoice discount". The total amount of requests being processed on the platform exceeds 9 billion euros.

Construction sector in clear recovery in 2021, continues sustained also in 2022-23
The construction sector plays a central role in the Italian economy and often is anticipator of its progress.

According to the Studies and Research Department of Intesa Sanpaolo, the final balance 2021 sees investments in construction growing by 20,8%, at constant prices and in the two-year period 2022-23 an average annual +4,5%.

2020 (in which construction sites were temporarily closed during the lockdown in the spring) saw the value of investments in construction approaching 135 billion euros, 45% of the total, with homes exceeding 67 billion. Of these, 42,5 billion relate to restructuring, the segment most affected by the Superbonus.

Also Deloitte forecasts growth for the construction sector, with a growth in investments of over 24% for the two-year period 2021-2022 and a projection to 2024 of recovery of the levels of 2011.

In the three-year period 2022-24 investments are expected to grow by +5% per year, with the component of investments in construction as a percentage of GDP which will reach over 9% in 2024.
