The baby bonus will be stabilized but with amount halved to 480 euros per year (paid monthly) for 2019 and 2020. The check is instead confirmed at 960 euros, i.e. 80 euros per month, for next year. It is the refinancing of the facility for newborns provided for by the Ap amendment to the budget bill reformulated by the rapporteurs Magda Zanoni (Pd) and Marcello Gualdani (Ap), in the Senate Budget Committee
Compared to first version of the operation-new born, expiring at the end of 2017, the allowance will be paid only up to the first year of age (or arrival in the family nucleus) and no longer until the third. However, the ISEE parameters necessary to be able to collect the sum do not change: the ISEE limit for submitting an application cannot be higher than 25.000 euros a year and the bonus doubles in the case of a value not exceeding 7 thousand euros a year, thus reaching 160 euros monthly for 2018. The measure is financed with 165 million in 2018 and 295 million for 2019 which rise to 228,5 in 2020.
Again with regard to the changes in the Budget Law, today the Government has also allocated a fund of 60 million euros to lighten the health superticket. “The covers for the abolition are lacking – explained Beatrice Lorenzin, Minister of Health – but our will to cancel the superticket has always been there. In the meantime, let's start reducing it, we'll see how later on".
