A few weeks ago Andrea Bonomi had closed the collection of his sixth fund and with an endowment of two billion euros, had announced three operations in Italy by the end of the year: in the chemical, design and luxury sectors. The first arrived today with a investment of approximately 750 million euros.

The current shareholder, the Catelli family, will remain a shareholder of Artsana with a 40% stake and will continue to lead its development alongside Investindustrial. Michele Catelli will be president, while Claudio De Conto is confirmed as CEO of the company ensuring management continuity. The closing of the transaction is expected within the month of June upon receipt of the necessary Antitrust authorizations. Artsana, which in 2015 recorded consolidated revenues of 1.420 million euros and a consolidated ebitda of 126 million euros, has its headquarters in Grandate, in the province of Como.
