Calendar of appointments with children:
Saturday 19/9 and Saturday 24/10: Free the sound! (4-5 years) Explore the sound between art and science and create a song of freedom. Reference artist: Susan Hiller who presents a collection of more than 100 popular songs that appeal to freedom in the exhibition.
Saturday 26/9 and Saturday 31/10: Space for freedom! (6 -7 years) Experience the space and volume between art and science and make a metaphorical journey to express your desire for freedom. Reference artist: Nasan Tur who in the exhibited work displays backpacks, each equipped with a kit prepared by the artist, which can be borrowed by visitors to the exhibition and used in public space according to the need of the moment: to protest, to speak in public, or just to cook something.
Saturday 3/10 and Saturday 7/11: red and gray (8-10 years). Investigate color between science and art and design your own action of freedom on an ideal space. Reference artist: Igor Grubic who creates public art interventions, which make irony, cynicism and the absurd a tool to make the community reflect.
Saturday 17/10 and Saturday 14/11: No limits (11-13 years) Explore the body and its potential, design a collective flash mob that you can carry out in the museum atrium.
Reference artists: Vanessa Beecroft who is interested in people's tendency to conform and creates works that portray rows of apparently identical bodies, more similar to mannequins than human beings.
Cao Fei who involved the workers of a Chinese company in a project which then led to the creation of real collective performances capable of making us reflect on the relationship between the body and the environment.
The laboratories will take place from 16 to 18, for a maximum group of 20 children; booking is mandatory and the cost of the ticket is 4€.
