La packaging valley in Bologna look to the future and to industry 4.0 with Unicredit for Growth, an accompanying path dedicated to Italian companies with the aim of outlining advanced strategies in the new global and technological contexts. The meeting takes place at the home of Ima, one of the national champions of the sector, listed on the Star segment of Borsa Italiana. The theme of the appointment is "Governance and leadership 4.0" and the first testimony is precisely that of the hostess who launched the Ima Digital program two years ago. “The result of this process – says the President Alberto Vacchi – it will be an improvement in terms of effectiveness and efficiency for our customers". It is "an articulated and multi-year project for the conception and design of intelligent machines in increasingly intelligent factories". Without neglecting the people who are "our true strength at all levels of the internal organization and related supply chains". Logic 4.0 does not want to replace work with talking robots, but represents, at least for Ima, "the removal of many barriers, within companies and between business networks that will be increasingly connected and ready for challenges". In this way, it will be possible to address hot and important issues such as that of excess plastic, which primarily involves the world of packaging. Ima is working on this issue and will soon need "new collaborations, new alliances, new skills".

Each of the appointments, structured like a workshop, is dedicated to a different topic and includes testimonials from entrepreneurs and opinion leaders and in-depth sessions with experts from Unicredit and the initiative's partners. It also envisages a set of ongoing project activities dedicated to the participants such as assistance in the construction of the individual industrial plan, support and advisory on issues of internationalization, innovation and corporate growth and the use of tools for strategic orientation and lapproach to the capital markets thanks to the partnership with ELITE, the international platform of Borsa Italiana-London Stock Exchange Group which represents the destination environment of these realities, to support them in their continuous growth path. 

The next stage of UniCredit for Growth is on the agenda in Verona in July. The program was born from the awareness that the great technological and social transformations taking place, new consumer behaviors and the very rapid replacements of traditional business models bring about a revolution in the pillars of growth and require companies and banks to reflect and discuss.
