Bologna opens the first art and science exhibition promoted by the Golinelli Foundation

On 18 September the first art and science exhibition promoted by the Golinelli Foundation opens its doors in Bologna "Degrees of freedom: where and how our possibility of being free arises". An extraordinary event that will mark the beginning of a new way of interpreting art and science in a Darwinian future.

Great expectations for the exhibition promoted by the Golinelli Foundation in Bologna. Are you born or made free? Does freedom end where the rights of others begin or where our brain decides? What are the limits of our freedom? Are we always the ones to decide? There are many questions addressed by the exhibition of art and science Degrees of freedom: where and how our possibility of being free arises. Designed by Giovanni Carrada, with the scientific collaboration of Gilberto Corbellini, conceived and produced by Golinelli Foundation, is curated by Giovanni Carrada for the scientific part and by Cristiana Perrella for the artistic one and realized in collaboration with the MAMbo – Museum of Modern Art of Bologna | Bologna Museums Institution which hosts it from 18 September to 22 November 2015.

The exhibition hosts artists of great importance such as: Halil Altindere, Vanessa Beecroft, Cao Fei, Igor Grubic, Susan Hiller, Tehching Hsieh, Dr. Lakra, Ryan McGinley, Peter Ruffo, Bob and Roberta Smith, Ryan Trecartin, Nasan Tur.
