Art Fair 2016 is preparing to celebrate its first 40 years: an important anniversary to be celebrated together with the protagonists who have made its history, including artists, gallery owners and personalities, showing for the first time the Italian Masters who have distinguished themselves in the world, all of whom have the Bologna pavilions.
The anniversary falls in a historical moment in which Italian art dominates the international markets. The great contemporary and modern artists record record unprecedented and this confirms a leadership worldwide for the Bologna Fair. The role of Arte Fiera is increasingly established and this edition will serve not only to reaffirm a record, but also to question the future, through a strong and suggestive exhibition model, but also solid and scientifically very high.
In addition to the classic exhibition of the best-known galleries in Italy and the world, the project also includes a celebratory exhibition that traces the first 40 years of Italy's largest art salon to tell what Arte Fiera has meant in the last four decades of understanding and discovering the "state of the art" of our country.
But that's not all, Arte Fiera 2016, in addition to the great Masters of the contemporary and modern scene exhibited by the Galleries from the birth of the Fair until today, will offer visitors a glimpse into tomorrow: what does the future of Art hold for us?
