Starting from January 2017 loffer of similar protection for the electricity supplies of households and small businesses, a new transitional mechanism that allows voluntary acceptance, via the web, of a supply with a standard contractual structure defined by the Authority.
With the introduction of the Tutela Simile solution, i.e. "similar" to a supply on the free market, the Authority - reads a note - wants to guarantee smaller customers currently under the Greater Protection regime (small consumers) the opportunity to "experiment" with a form of offer closer to those of the free market, in conditions of transparency, simplicity and in a context of supply supervised by the Authority itself.
A tool for accompany the consumer towards forms typical of the free market, the only supply method that will remain in force when the price protection regimes end, the term of which will be decided by the Competition bill, currently being approved by Parliament, and currently expected in 2018.
