Records for Boeing. The US manufacturer announced during the Italian night, with the markets closed, that it had delivered 2014 airliners in 723, setting a new record for the sector and maintaining its leadership to the detriment of its historic European rival Airbus.
The year was also record-breaking for orders: 1.550 gross orders (up 1% on 2013), 1.432 net orders (considering cancellations), against 1.355 last year. After closing Tuesday's session down 1,18% on Wall Street, Boeing shares are trading moderately higher in the premarket.
