Boeing: order worth 8,5 billion in Japan

Boeing awarded an $8,5 billion contract in Japan. The American giant has received an order for 80 aircraft from Smbc Aviation Capital, an aircraft leasing giant controlled by Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group.

The contract concerns the new B737 Max 8 and follows the order between SMBC and Airbus last July for 110 aircraft for a value of almost 12 billion dollars.
