Bnl, profits and loans on the rise

Good results for the Italian subsidiary of Bnp Paribas: gross profit increased by 18,4% compared to the third quarter of 2010 and loans grew by 5,7%. Deposits are down, and loans to businesses and customers are growing.

While Bnp Paribas scores Prevention higher than expected, Bnl, the Italian subsidiary of the Group, brings home good results. The National Labor Bank closed the third quarter of 2011 with gross profit of 135 million, up 18,4% compared to the same period last year. Jobs are also growing, which recorded an increase of 5,7% to 3,9 billion euros compared to 2010.
