New sales record for BMW in 2012: the global automotive giant registered 1,8 million vehicles. This was announced by the finance director of the automaker in an interview with the Die Welt newspaper.
“One of our goals – explained Friedrich Eichiner – was to increase vehicle sales in 2012 and to achieve a new record in deliveries. With 1,8 million vehicles we have achieved this” target. Between January and November, BMW increased sales by 10,1% to 1,66 million. In 2011 the group had sold 1,67 million vehicles.
