Despite an auto market in crisis, BMW scored record sales in 2012, rewriting the records set the previous year. The German automaker, which expects even better results for the current year, sold a total of 2012 million vehicles in 1,845, up 10,6% year on year. In the month of December alone, BMW recorded sales of 181.571 units, an increase of 14,8% over the same month of the previous year.
The group's satisfaction emerges from the words of marketing manager Ian Robertson, who underlines how BMW further increased "its leadership in the premium segment" in the past year. The driving brands, for sales, were BMW, Mini and Rolls-Royce.
