Financing of 35 millioni of euros for the "Infrastructure Fund for Growth - ESG", handled by Azimut Libera Impresa Sgr Spa for the construction of two plants for the production of biomethane in Campania.
The allocation of funds was managed by a pool of banks made up of Banco BPM, as agent and lead bank, Mediocredito Centrale, Popular Bank of Puglia e Basilica ScpA e Cooperative Credit Bank Campania Centro Cassa Rurale ed Artisan Soc. Coop.
Financing has been studied in the form of Project Financing customizing every aspect of the contract with respect to the specific characteristics of the project.

Where will the two projects arise?

The two projects named “Bioenergy Albanella” e “Bioenergy Greenhouses” will arise in Piana del Sele in the province of Salerno, an area with a high concentration of agricultural businesses, in particular buffalo farms and vegetable crops, with the aim of concretely promoting the relationship between the production of renewable energy through the circular economy. The two plants fed with livestock manure will be used for the production of advanced biomethane to be used in the transport sector and high quality organic manure.

With the IPC fund we invest in infrastructures with a social connotation with the aim of generating a positive growth on the environment and on the community, adopting a rigorously applied ESG approach proven by a technical committee, and at the same time to create economic returns for investors” he commented Andrea Cornetti, Chief Executive Officer RE and Infrastructures of Azimut Libera Impresa Sgr.
