In Europe, the growth of billionaire fortunes has shown signs of slowdown starting in 2020, partly due to rising interest rates. From 2015 to 2020, the wealth of European billionaires increased by 43,6%, from $1,5 trillion to $2,1 trillion. However, from 2020 to 2024, growth slowed to 29%, with wealth reaching $2,7 trillion.
