Pier Luigi Bersani's conditions are stable, but the prognosis remains confidential. This was announced by the latest medical bulletin of the Maggiore hospital in Parma on the conditions of the former secretary of the Democratic Party, struck yesterday morning by a cerebral hemorrhage, promptly operated on: "The post-operative course evolves positively, the patient spent a night Calm. Stable and normal parameters. Bersani has no neurological deficits, is intubated, alert and has conversed with family members. The prognosis remains confidential as expected in the course of these operations".
Caution, therefore, but also a certain optimism, even if it will still take a few days to resolve the prognosis. Bersani, who would always remain conscious, before and after the operation, met his wife Daniela Ferrari and daughters Elisa and Margherita in the morning, who reported to their father the many messages of encouragement towards him.
Messages that, on the occasion, were particularly transversal. Many members of the local Democratic Party and the spokesman of the former secretary Stefano Di Traglia arrived at the facility this morning. Matteo Renzi is also expected at the hospital to visit Bersani, who also received messages of good wishes from Laura Boldrini and Piero Grasso, as well as those, among others, from Giorgio Napolitano, Enrico Letta, Silvio Berlusconi, Maria Stella Gelmini, Maurizio Gasparri, Nichi Vendola, Angelino Alfano and Ignazio Marino, mayor of Rome. Even Beppe Grillo, in his blog, wrote: "Bersani we are waiting for you, don't play jokes".
