Berlusconi: "Yes only to a coalition government, even with Bersani as president"

CONSULTATIONS - Berlusconi: "We are only available for a Pd-Pdl-Lega-Monti coalition government, also led by Bersani - An agreement on the most urgent economic measures is possible - With Napolitano there was no mention of the Quirinale, "but if we make a government together we will choose the future President with the allied parties”

Berlusconi: "Yes only to a coalition government, even with Bersani as president"

"We are open to a coalition government between Pdl, Pd, Lega and Civic Choice". This was reiterated by the leader of the centre-right, Silvio Berlusconi, at the end of the consultations at Colle with the Head of State, Giorgio Napolitano. In the event of an agreement for a very government, the Knight underlined that the PDL "is fine with the candidacy of Bersani, like other candidacies of the Democratic Party". As for the name of Napolitano's successor, Berlusconi said he has not made any proposals.

Il Cavaliere, who arrived at the Quirinale with the Northern League leader, Roberto Maroni, clarified that the PDL and Carroccio want “a government of broad understandings between the responsible and available forces. An absolutely political government, also given the negative, I would say tragic, experience of the government of the technicians ".

The positions of the PDL therefore remain substantially unchanged compared to the past few days and will not allow for the formation of a new Executive, since so far the Pd has rejected the proposal for a government based on broad agreements, instead asking the Pidiellini senators to leave the Chamber at the time of voting, in order to lower the quorum for the majority in Palazzo Madama.

In the afternoon the representatives of the Movimento 5 Stelle are expected at the Colle first (at 16 pm, this time Beppe Grillo should not be part of the delegation), then those of the Civic Choice, Sel and finally of the Democratic Party (18 pm).
