Berlusconi: PDL parade at the Court of Milan, in Naples the prosecutors ask for immediate judgment

They sing "brothers of Italy, Italy has awakened!" before the Tribunal. Then they improvise an outdoor press conference on the bleachers. Anything to defend Silvio Berlusconi, alleged victim of "judicial abuse". Meanwhile, however, new troubles are arriving for the Knight from the Naples prosecutor's office.

After meeting this morning in Milan, in the headquarters of the Trade Union, the parliamentarians of the PDL moved in the early afternoon towards the courthouse - where a demonstration was planned, then canceled - to express all their solidarity with the number one of the match. But that's not all, because immediately afterwards the pidiellino handful entered the building, went up to the first floor and symbolically stood in front of the Ruby trial courtroom. But the door was closed.

The PDL secretary Angelino Alfano, who proposed an Aventine for the first sessions in the Chamber precisely as a sign of protest over the justice issue, explained that the parliamentarians of his party have decided to demonstrate (despite Berlusconi's invitation not to ) due to "three very serious facts".

First: the "scandalous" non-recognition of this morning's meeting as a legitimate impediment for the deputies Niccolò Ghedini and Fabio Longo, who as Cavaliere's lawyers had to attend a hearing in the Ruby trial. Second: the new "equally scandalous" tax inspection requested for Silvio Berlusconi, hospitalized since last Friday at the San Raffaele hospital for eye inflammation. Third: the request for immediate judgment for the leader of the PDL by the Naples judges, despite the former prime minister having given his "willingness to appear from March 15 onwards, at any time". The prosecutors have forwarded the request for the hypothesis of a crime of corruption: at the center of the investigation, the three million euros that are thought to have been paid to the former IDV senator Sergio De Gregorio to bring down the last government Prodi.

"We have an interlocutor we trust, who is the president of the Republic and of the CSM, Giorgio Napolitano - concluded Alfano - to whom we entrust our concern for this democratic emergency" . On Tuesday the secretary will meet the Head of State.

Among the demonstrators who decided to sing the anthem in front of the Tribunal are former ministers Paolo Romani, Raffaele Fitto, Stefania Prestigiacomo, Maria Stella Gelmini, Michela Vittoria Brambilla and former undersecretary Daniela Santanchè.
