Silvio Berlusconi was hospitalized on Tuesday morning at the San Raffaele hospital in Milan for heart failure. On Monday, the leader of Forza Italia, in conditions of evident fatigue, had spent a few hours in the same hospital for some tests.
In these hours, investigations are underway to determine the seriousness of the problem and understand what the triggering causes may have been. The sources of Forza Italia however specify that Berlusconi has not had any illness and that the intervention was planned. "The diagnostic definition and therapeutic strategies - explains his personal doctor Alberto Zangrillo - will be addressed in the coming days". According to what has been learned from hospital sources, no surgery is planned for the moment but only hospitalization as a precaution.
Berlusconi has already had heart problems in the past and has already had a pacemaker installed. San Raffaele has always been his reference hospital and he had also recently been hospitalized there, due to eye problems caused by uveitis.
