Berlusconi could not do without it and in the end it happened: the Cavaliere, great protagonist of the Milan epic, returns to the world of football. The negotiation is now officially closed: the former premier and owner of the Rossoneri club starts again from a small reality, Monza. With two new features: first of all, according to some news agencies, Monza will be taken over directly by Fininvest, the Berlusconi family holding owned by all five of his sons and controlled by Silvio with 65%. Secondly, the same Fininvest will take over 100% of Società Sportiva Monza 1912 – in recent weeks, 70% and then 95% had been assumed – for an overall valuation estimated between 2,5 and 3 million euros: the precise definition of the figure will take place in the next few hours with the approval of the Monza football budget 2017-2018 (closed on June 30th).

In any case, the signing is only a matter of days and will arrive by the end of the month and that is presumably before the birthday of the Knight, who will blow out 29 candles on Saturday 82 September and who in these days is strongly relaunching his political candidacy in the next European elections of 2019. Adriano Galliani, already very loyal to his Milan days, will be managing director and the entrepreneur Nicola Colombo, who will sell 100% of Monza, will remain president. "Keeping this position is an honor, even more so because I will leave the company's capital: it is a recognition of what I have done in the past and what I will still be able to do for the club," he told Radiocor Colombo.
