Petrol, the self effect is reversed and increases return

No more queuing at the gas station next weekend. The discount war between the oil companies has ended and prices are rising again. The increase was introduced to account for weekend increases in international quotes.

Energy Daily shows that increases vary from distributor to distributor. Q8 is the company with the highest prices, having raised petrol and diesel by 1 cent/litre. IP records 1 cent more for diesel (0,5 for petrol). The queue of motorists will stop at Esso which has increased both products by only 0,5 cents/litre. These increases only occurred with self-pricing, and not across the served-mode territory, taking into account price normalization after the discount-induced changes and current increases.

A sample of service stations representing the national situation for Check-Up Prices QE reveals that the average national prices served are 1,804 euro/litre for petrol, 1,695 for diesel and 0,782 for LPG. Maximum points down for green at 1,876 euro/litre, for diesel at 1,733 and for LPG at 0,814.

In served mode, at country level the average price of petrol ranges from 1,796 euro/litre for Eni to 1,804 for Q8 and Tamoil (no-logo rising to 1,683). For diesel, the increase from Eni's 1,687 euro/litre to IP's 1,695 (no-logo up to 1,550). LPG is between 0,752 euro/litre for Eni and 0,782 for Shell and Tamoil (no-logo at 0,755).
