ECB: current account surplus of 18,7 billion in July

According to data released by the European central institute, in July the current account balance in the Eurozone showed a surplus of 18,7 billion euros - In the last 12 months an accumulated surplus of 237,6 billion euros.

The current account balance of the Eurozone's balance of payments recorded a surplus of 18,7 billion euros in July. A note from the ECB communicates it. The result is made up of services with a surplus of 12,8 billion, goods of 10,7 billion, income of 3,6 billion, on the side of expenditure, current transfers amounted to 8,5 billion.

The surplus accumulated in the last 12 months in the currency union thus rises to 237,6 billion euros, equal to 2,5%. The result consists of 179,4 billion from goods, 120 billion from services partially offset by the drop in the surplus of incomes which fell to 54,7.
