The ECB will communicate the results of its comprehensive assessment of the banks at noon on Sunday 26 October. This was announced by Eurotower which in a note explains that the results of the individual banks will make a distinction between the capital shortfalls identified in the "Asset Quality Review" and those that emerged on the basis of the stress tests.
There are 130 banks subjected to the examinations of the ECB. After the results are published, banks, where necessary, will have two weeks to submit capital plans to the ECB, detailing how they will cover shortfalls.
