ECB: Europe slows down, reforms are needed

Dark clouds gather over the old continent. The global economic situation, the drop in business confidence and the tensions in the financial markets are keeping growth at a standstill and leading the European Central Bank to forecast less than encouraging results for development, in line with the results of the second quarter.
Thus the ECB, in its latest bulletin, calls on the countries of the Eurozone to fully implement the commitments undertaken, to be achieved with maneuvers on the accounts and, if necessary, with further additional measures. The European countries, specifies the note from Frankfurt, must act with determination, placing the interventions in the initial phase of the programming periods and guaranteeing their full application.
The need is to ensure the stability of the euro area. Trust, growth and work. These are the keywords that should guide the action of sovereign states. In particular, the reforms of the labor market "should be a key element, with attention to the elimination of rigidity and the implementation of measures that promote wage flexibility".
