ECB: banks repay another 6,1 billion from Ltro auctions

According to data released by the central institute, the banks of the Eurozone repaid in advance another 6,16 billion of the funds received from the ECB with the two Ltro auctions of 2011 and 2012 - The sum of the repayments made amounted to 544,59 billion euros out of a total of 1.000 received.

New early repayments by Eurozone banks, as part of the return of funds received from the ECB with the two Ltro auctions in December 2011 and February 2012. This was announced by Eurotower itself, according to which the institutions of the currency union will make repayments for another 6,16 billion euros.

According to data from the ECB, the volume for next week is up from 3,37 billion in the current one. In this way, as of 21 May, the sum of repayments made by banks in the Eurozone will amount to 544,59 billion out of the total gross 1.000 billion received by the Frankfurt institute.
