Bcc: Federcasse extends banking contract

The lack of agreement between the unions and Federcasse has led the latter to extend the contract that has just expired but the companies are aiming for the renewal of the bargaining before the reform of the cooperative credit banks

Federcasse extends cnational contract for workers of the CCBs, which expired at the end of October, in the hope of finding the occasion for a broad confrontation with the trade union bodies.

Last March Federcasse and the unions had set October 31 as the deadline for reaching an agreement on the renewal of the national contract which affects about 37 workers of the CCBs. The agreement between the association that brings together the cooperative credit banks and the rural banks and the BCC bank unions has not arrived and therefore Federcasse has preferred to extend the validity of the contract that has just expired but with the intention of sitting down at the table as soon as possible trade union symbols.

The crucial issues relating to the renewal of the contract and on which Federcasse prefers to discuss with the unions before the reform of the cooperative credit banks are the protection of employment, the enhancement and autonomy of trade union relations, the management of the consequences of the self-reform process and the overall sustainability of the contractual structure.
