The foreign ministry's crisis unit has announced the presence of three Italian victims among the thirteen people who lost their lives in the attack on Thursday afternoon in Barcelona.
We are talking about Bruno Gulotta, a 35-year-old from Legnano, hit by the van of death while walking on the Ramblas with his partner and two children. The news was given by the company for which Gulotta worked, Tom's Hardware. The other victim is Luca Russo, 25, from Bassano del Grappa, in the province of Vicenza, an energy engineering graduate who was in the Catalan city with the girl, Marta Scomazzon, who was injured but not in serious condition. The third victim is Carmen Lopardo, 80 years old, resident in Argentina for more than 60 years, originally from the province of Potenza.
In the meantime, the Spanish authorities are proceeding with the recognition of the bodies. Among the wounded, there are other Italians in serious condition.
