After the journey I made (self-financed) through 110 places in the Democratic Party, I convinced myself that despite everything the conditions exist in some of these places to experiment with new forms and methods of partying, on issues relevant to citizens.
It is on this basis that, together with others with whom I have spoken in recent months, I have deemed it possible to collect the ideas and the demand that have come from these places to support their experiments and commitment. And so yesterday I launched a micro-project (www.fabriziobarca.it) and a related open fundraising – crowd funding – with the following objectives:
– encourage the experimentation of forms of discussion and informed, heated and open deliberation on social, economic and cultural issues which are priorities for the territory;
– promote in these places the formation and practice of left-wing values, political culture and tools to understand and change society and the use of methods to verify and put pressure on public action;
– research and practice forms of work and dialogue that make the party interesting for young people committed to "changing the world" in a concrete and motivated way;
– achieve all this with the use of the Internet as a tool for verification, dissemination of results, relationship with similar experiences and learning.
