Banco Popolare: senior bond of 500 million

Banco Popolare has placed a 3-year senior bond loan with institutional investors as part of its EMTN program for a benchmark amount of 500 million euro.
The transaction, priced at the mid swap rate + 255 basis points, was mainly placed with AssetManager (66%) and Banks. The issuance was led by Banca Aletti, BNP Paribas, BofAML, Goldman Sachs International, Nomura and UBS as Joint Book Runners.
The funds raised, which will be used for the current management of the company, will contribute to further strengthening the already excellent liquidity position of the Group and the lengthening of the debt maturity.
