Banco Popolare yesterday "successfully" concluded the 750 million senior bond issue maturing in January 2018. The bank announced this, specifying that the bond, with a fixed-rate coupon, has a final yield equal to the mid-swap corresponding increase by 192 basis points.
“The operation, initially announced with an indication of yield equal to the mid swap rate of the same duration increased by a spread of 195 area, was priced – explains Banco Popolare – at the mid swap rate +192 basis points, thanks to a book characterized by the presence of asset managers and banks, oversubscribed by more than 1.7 times the final amount of the issue”.
The most important allocations concerned investors from European countries, in particular the United Kingdom, France, the Scandinavian countries, Spain and Portugal, Germany and Austria, as well as those from the domestic market.
