Through his new creature, Cherry 106 of which he is CEO, Bossi will acquire 51% of Banco delle Tre Venezia in view of a merger that will take place when the ECB gives its approval.

“After 12 years lived intensely – he commented the President of the Banco delle Tre Venezie, Gabriele Piccolo – crossed by one of the biggest financial crises in recent history, aggravated by the resolution of the two most important banks in the Veneto region, aware that in order to grow it was necessary to do something innovative, we identified the opportunity to continue and strengthen our history and project BTV into the future. The diversification of the business and sources of revenue, together with the expected technological development, central elements of the new project, represent the guidelines to allow BTV to present itself as a solid and innovative banking entity that can continue to be the protagonist of the economic and financial life of our area".

"I think of what has happened in recent months - added Giovanni Bossi -, of the pandemic, the liquidity needs of companies, to the loss of jobs and I think it is once again possible to work to rebuild a future with a spirit of protagonists. What we have built in recent months, with strong roots and concrete results, can aspire to move immediately to a larger scale, through the opportunity to integrate into a solid structure and with strong skills".
