Bpm bank zero commissions on payments by ATM up to 10 euros. Three weeks fromagreement on commission cuts for electronic payments between banks, payment services and small businesses, the banking institution led by Giuseppe Castagna has launched its initiative both to encourage the diffusion of electronic instruments even for small-value transactions and to contain the commissions charged to companies. In detail, for each transaction made on the PagoBancomat circuit for an amount of less than or equal to 10 euros, executed from 1 October 2023 to 30 June 2024, Banco Bpm will refund the merchants the commissions paid by them. "The initiative does not require membership, but will be automatically active for all points of sale, already customers or who will become customers during the validity period of the same, with no turnover limit", reads a note.
This measure follows the initiative carried out last two years in collaboration with Bancomat spa which provided for the zeroing of the commissions charged to merchants for payments on Pos up to 4,99 euros. Furthermore, possible further concessions are being "assessed" in favor of customers for card payments on international circuits, which will join new initiatives for the development of transaction volumes, both of the current customer base and of new relationships, which the Bank has planned to launch in the last quarter of the year”, the bank continues.
