Banco Bpm finances Alfapart with 12,5 million for the green conversion

Banco Bpm has signed a financing operation for a total of 12,5 million euros Beauty&Business, a company belonging to the Alfaparf Group, a multinational in the professional cosmetics industry that manufactures and markets hair and skin care products and beauty equipment.

The loan, reads a note, is part of the bank's interventions aimed at supporting the conversion from a viewpoint planet of Italian companies. For its part, Alfaparf Group will use the resources for a series of initiatives which include “increasing the share of energy from renewable sources in total energy consumption and internal training activities on sustainability matters”.

Fabrizio Bernazzani, Head of the Milan Corporate Market of Banco BPM. “Promoting real awareness of ESG issues is a challenge that Banco BPM has decided to take up by implementing proactive support actions for customers, thanks to an integrated ESG business model and through dedicated tools”.

“The Banco BPM project – he added Sandro Formento, Chief Financial Officer of Alfaparf Group – will help us achieve two of the objectives of our Sustainability Plan: reduce CO2 emissions from production processes and products to contribute to the mitigation of climate change and continue the ambitious sustainability training project that aims to involve all Group collaborators”.

Since 2019, the group has been reporting its performance in the annual Sustainability Report and since 2022 it has been operating according to a strategic Sustainability Plan.
