Bpm bank, starting from the beginning of July, ha named Adolfo Pellegrinoexperienced manager in the banking sector, Chief Innovation Officer (CInO).
Pilgrim will drive key functions of Information Technology, Data Governance and Security, Operations and Real Estate. Will support the Chief Executive Officer and top management in continuing the digital transformation journey of the Group and in optimizing operating efficiency. It will also contribute to the streamlining of activities in order to improve the overall functioning of the organization.
The profile of Adolfo Pellegrino
Before joining Banco BPM, Pellegrino spent several years at prestigious financial institutions such as JP Morgan and Accenture, working in theinvestment banking and business consulting. He has held positions of responsibility in important institutions such as Capitalia, Unicredit and BNP Paribas BNL, both in Italy and abroad, with a focus on Information Technology, Innovation, Transformation, Operations, Organization and Purchasing.
From 2019 until today, Pellegrino has extended his experience in the digital services and payments sector. He held the role of Global Chief Customer Operations at SIA and, more recently, was CEO and General Manager of ServiceHub and Head of Operations Transformation Italy at Nexi Group.
During these years, he has led and implemented complex business relaunch, digital transformation and hyper-automation programs, exploiting new technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, data analysis and spoken language. Furthermore, he has adopted innovative working methodologies such as Lean / 6σ, World Class Manufacturing, Agile @ scale and Design Thinking, to simplify and manage changes within organizations.
The appointment of the new Chief Innovation Officer by Banco BPM aims to improve further the current arrangement in terms of technological innovation and digitization, recognizing them as key enabling factors for the growth of the company's core business.
