Banco Bpm, union agreement for 1.500 voluntary exits

Banco BPM and the company trade union organizations have reached an agreement for the accompaniment to retirement of 1.500 employees, on a voluntary basis, also through recourse to the extraordinary benefits of the solidarity fund, promoting generational turnover and youth employment with 750 recruitments to be made in the period 2021-2023.

This agreement also allows, believes the bank led by Giuseppe Castagna, "an easy management of the rationalization of the commercial network", which provides for the closure of 300 branches during the first half of 2021. "Furthermore, in order to ensure a level of increasingly high quality service to our customers, and further increase the professional skills of Banco BPM's men and women, as part of these agreements, further forecasts have been defined which highlight the centrality of training in the changed reference scenario", he explains a note.

Lastly, the second-level regulatory system was confirmed as well as the tools that favor the reconciliation of life and work times.
