Banco BPM in support of the Northern territories

Banco BPM in support of the territories of Northern Italy affected by bad weather, especially Piedmont and Liguria. With the allocation of a specific ceiling of 150 million euro, Banco BMP offers its help to families and businesses that have suffered serious damage and are committed to facing and overcoming the critical issues of the moment with targeted and immediate interventions.

In detail, it is a concrete support to all the communities affected by the exceptional atmospheric events, through the willingness to accept requests from suspension of mortgage and loan installments.

The Banking Group will immediately evaluate, pending the relevant legislative provisions, requests for a moratorium of up to 12 months on mortgage and loan installments to damaged individuals and businesses that have residence or registered/operating headquarters in all the provinces of the Piedmont, Liguria and Val d'Aosta, and in particular in the Municipalities of the provinces of Cuneo, Imperia and Vercelli.

Furthermore, all those who have suffered damage will be able to apply for unsecured loans at particularly favorable economic conditions for the works to restore the damage caused by bad weather. Requests will be examined with a priority preliminary procedure and will therefore be able to benefit from reduced waiting times.

Banco BMP is also ready to evaluate participation in further subsidized initiatives that may be activated with the participation of institutions, local authorities, trade associations and consortia.

The staff present in the Banco BPM branches is available to evaluate the best financial solutions, with short or medium-term loans, thus offering the most suitable solution for each individual need.
