Banks, EU: Italy fined for capital requirements and bonuses

Italy does not comply with the European standards on capital requirements and on the bonus policy of the banks. This is supported by the EU Commission, which has asked the European Court of Justice to impose a fine on our country of almost 97 euros a day.

A sanction that should be paid from the day of the pronouncement to continue until Rome too has adapted to what is imposed by Brussels. At present, Italy is the only member that has not yet transposed any aspect of the directive.
