Restore customer access only by booking, check the green pass before entering and entrust the task to external personnel. These are just some of the proposals that i banking unions Fabi, First Cisl, Fisac Cgil, Uilca and Unisin will present to the ABI - Italian Banking Association - on the occasion of a meeting scheduled for Thursday 13 January in light of the surge in infections in recent weeks.

The proposals were defined during a videoconference meeting between the general secretaries of Fabi, Lando Maria Sileoni, First Cisl, Riccardo Colombani, Fisac Cgil, Nino Baseotto, Uilca, Fulvio Furlan, Unisin, Emilio Contrasto. In particular:

  • The appeal to smart working wherever possible, to avoid travel.
  • The assignment of the assignment for the expected green pass check to external employees with supervisory duties, to be carried out outside the Bank, so as not to further overload the staff of the branches and offices with a task, moreover, not within their competence.
  • The sharing of an initiative with the government and the competent ministers so that the super green pass and not just the basic one is mandatory for customers who go to the bank.
  • The restoration of customer access only through booking to avoid gatherings and to favor a correct and preventive control of the customers' green certification.
  • The attribution of paid leave to workers who are in isolation for self-surveillance as direct contacts, according to the provisions in force.
  • The involvement of workers' safety representatives in special meetings to monitor the situation, also with reference to the issue of ventilation of the premises, given that this factor is now proven to be among the main ones to be evaluated in order to contain the spread of the infection.
  • The immediate suspension of the planning and implementation of staff travel and face-to-face training.
  • The extension of the agreement for the creation of assemblies of remote workers.
