The Government will give the go-ahead next week to a single decree which will contain all the measures on credit institutions, i.e. the reform of the cooperative credit banks and the novelty of the public guarantee on the securitization of non-performing loans, after the painful agreement reached last night by Minister Padoan in Brussels.
Given the very tight deadlines for the development of the rules on guarantees, the reform of the CCBs, according to government sources, is postponed to the Council of Ministers next week and will be contained in the same decree. In the provision there will also be the innovations to make the insolvency procedures for the recovery of credits by the banks faster.
