The loans of cooperative banks to customers are still growing. Indeed, the credit observatory for the category shows a tendential increase of 1,3% in the consolidated data of Credito Popolare in the month of May. A figure higher than the system average and in line with the growth dynamics highlighted in the previous two months. Furthermore, the positive trend of the data relating to Current Accounts administered by the banks of the category is confirmed, with an annual growth of over 9%.

“The Popular Banks – he declares the General Secretary of Assopopolari, Giuseppe De Lucia Lumeno commenting on the data – they continue to be a point of reference for businesses and households; a cornerstone of trust for the productive realities of the territories and the savers. In the current framework of uncertainty and instability of the entire economy, the growth in credit granted and savings collected by Popolari could not be explained otherwise.”
