Four million households and 250.000 business customers of cooperative banks in 2017 they used the internet channel on a daily basis for both information and devices. This is what emerges from the most up-to-date examination of the data processed by Assopopolari. In particular, in the last year the number of families using digital channels has grown by 6%. A growth confirmed by transfers made via the web, 10 million at the end of 2017 in addition to those made with telematic connections other than the Internet (14 million) for a total of 24 million transactions, equal to 80% of the total.

For the Secretary General of Assopopolari Giuseppe DeLucia Lumeno “The operating model of the Popolari proves, once again, to be able to grasp the technologically more advanced needs of households and businesses that tend to be increasingly connected to the network, also through the digital channel. A tool, that of the digital channel, combined with that of the counter which simplifies communication and helps to maintain a strong bond with customers in relation to the diversified age groups, habits and needs".
