The outlook on the Italian banking system remains negative. This is what the US rating agency Moody's says in aa note released late yesterday evening.
The outlook – indicates Moody's – reflects the persistent fragility of the economic context and the growing problems on the loan front.
Problems that overcome some positive developments of the last year such as the strengthening of capital levels, better access to financing and the increase in liquid assets, but which are not enough to clearly reverse the trend of opinion on the banking system.
