Banks in decline, but FCA and fashion give sprint to the Stock Exchange

Banks still in trouble, except Intesa - After Cairo's move, RCS also loses share - FCA, fashion and construction, however, give impetus to Piazza Affari which earns more than European lists (+1,41%) - Stefanel's boom - Btp spread -Bund exceeds 141.

Piazza Affari bounces back, leading the rally in European lists: the Ftse Eb it earns 1,41% even if it fails to close above the threshold of 18.000 points where it was reported in the intraday. In Piazza Affari, sales always hit financial stocks: Mps -3,17%, Banco Popolare -3,12%, Anima -2,36% and Unicredit -1,47%. Piazza Gae Aulenti cancels the day's gains after the quarterly which shows a profit down by 20% but above expectations. Saipem also down -1,74%.

Buzzi Unicem shines +3,88%, followed by Yoox +3,32% and Prysmian +3,14%. The automotive sector is also in light after the data on Chinese registrations. Esso +3,05%, FCA +3,02%. Brembo rises by 1,89% with the accounts: the first quarter closed with a net profit up by 32% to 60,4 million euros on a turnover that grew by 9,6% to 563 million.

Enel +2,42% on the wave of the quarterly results: net income has grown from 810 million to 939 million euros. At the end of March, net debt had fallen to 36,64 billion euro, compared to 37,55 billion at the start of the year. For the whole of 2016, Enel's management forecasts a recurring EBITDA of approximately 14,7 billion euros and a net profit of 3,1 billion. "The broadband plan will go ahead with or without Metroweb - said the CFO Alberto De Paoli - We think that the operation can speed up our plan, but if it doesn't go through, we will continue on our own".

Telecom Italia also rose +2,06%, which yesterday evening presented its offer for the subsidiary of Cdp and F2i.
